At least 50 children will have a brighter Christmas at the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill thanks to you!
The Rachel Kendall Team collected toys in their first Annual Toy Drive for the organization throughout the month of December.
Donations came from those who have firsthand experience with the organization, friends of the Team ( including a special donation made from Iraq), as well as members of the Team and their families.
A comfort for those who must be away from their home on this holiday
Toys will be delivered to the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill today in time to be given to children this Christmas who are staying at the facility while undergoing medical treatment.
The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill serves families from across the state of North Carolina, the U.S. and even foreign countries. Families staying at the House not only enjoy amenities like those found in their own home, but also the support of other families experiencing similar struggles. In the comfort and quiet provided they are able to relax and unwind after a long, stressful day at the hospital.
